Anticipated End Date: August 14, 2026 – All interns must be in office and in person on their last day to return equipment. Interns must be located in the same location throughout the duration of their internship and are prohibited from returning laptop/equipment to a different office location or shipping their equipment back. Position Summary: Our department, Franklin Templeton Technology (FTT) Investment Operations is responsible for supporting Investment Operations (FTS) back office systems. This area specifically deals with the system and platform architecture and digital transformation. We are a team of architects and analysts who work on full stack application development, real time data integration and Data and Analytics in the cloud. We work closely with the investment teams and other business teams to understand and map their business processes to the Front to Back Investment Operations system currently being implemented at Franklin. Team Culture: Our team is comprised of senior technologists playing Architect and Lead Analyst Roles. We interact with the business on one hand a number of technology departments on the other to formulate solutions that meets Investment Operations business needs. Areas include Real Time Data Integration, Data and Analytics, Algorithm Driven applications etc.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing major in Economics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Information Management or related field
  • Some familiarity with Databases and programming languages (Python/Java)
  • Good communication skills
