Requirements

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior security, law enforcement, and/or military experience preferred.
• Ability to handle walking, standing, bending, light lifting, observing, detailed reporting, multitasking, greeting clients and visitors for long periods of time.
• Must be able to read and understand written instructions, complete standard forms, and logs, compose reports that convey complete information in a legible manner.
• For some sites, must have computer experience and the ability to use a tablet to conduct security reports.
• Ability to work Weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
• Ability to acquire CPR/1st AED certification (based on client's request).
• Must always look professional in a clean and pressed uniform.
• Must be customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols of site and complete checks per instruction.
• Check and secure doors, gates, windows, etc.
• Monitor buildings for unauthorized people, suspicious activity, water leaks, fires, safety hazards, etc.
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies.
• Record detailed Daily Activity Reports, Incident & Maintenance Reports, Parking Violations, Visitor-Truck Log In's, etc.
• Remain alert for the presence of violations and contact the appropriate authority.
• Provide escorts when requested.
• Ensure compliance with SEI and Clients policies, such as smoking, loitering, parking violations, etc.
