Job Description As a Unarmed Security Professional Commercial in South San Francisco, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with tenants, visitors, and site contacts while delivering a welcoming customer service experience. Requirements
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by following site-specific procedures, access control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including lobbies, corridors, stairwells, parking areas, and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify maintenance concerns.
- Monitor alarms, cameras, and building systems when assigned, and document observations, incidents, and irregularities in written reports and/or electronic logs.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, fire alarm activations, and disturbances, and coordinate with property management and/or public responders as needed.
- Control access by verifying credentials, directing visitors, enforcing site rules, and assisting with deliveries and service providers in accordance with security-related procedures.
