About The Position

Beginning in 1977, IPSC offered security officer patrol services, and has since expanded to offer a number of security-related services. We are recruiting professional security officers with excellent customer service and security skills to join our highly regarded team. Prior law enforcement, military and/or 1 years of security experience is a plus; however training and uniform will be provided to the right candidate. Full-time and part-time positions available. Retirees welcome. Position starting pay rate is $12.95 per hour paid weekly. Requirements

• Must be able to walk long periods of time.
• Must have some computer skills.
• Must have written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills

• Ability to work as a team member and solo
• Willingness and ability to work to a flexible roster, 7 days a week
• Reliable transport
• Active cellphone
• Ability to pass a drug screen
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, perform routine foot patrols

Nice To Haves

• Prior law enforcement, military and/or 1 years of security experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Performing both regular and random patrols of multiple premises
• Reporting any security-related incidents, hazards or unusual occurrences
• When necessary, performing control procedures
• Operating emergency equipment
• Documenting nightly operations and filing weekly reports
• Investigating breaches of property
