About The Position

Inner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) is seeking professional Unarmed Security Officers for Standby positions, available in both full-time and part-time capacities. The role involves patrolling premises, reporting incidents, and ensuring safety through effective communication and conflict resolution. Ideal candidates will possess strong customer service skills and a valid Unarmed Security Guard license, with a focus on maintaining a secure environment during designated shifts, particularly on weekends.

Requirements

• Active Unarmed Security Guard license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills.
• Sound communication skills.
• Ability to work as a team member and independently.
• Willingness to work a flexible roster, 7 days a week.
• Reliable transport and active cellphone.
• Ability to pass a drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Prior law enforcement or military experience.
• 1 year of security experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular and random patrols of multiple premises.
• Report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences.
• Perform control procedures when necessary.
• Operate emergency equipment as required.
• Document nightly operations and file weekly reports.
• Investigate breaches of property.
