About The Position

The Unarmed Security Officer at ECC Partnership LLC is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors. Requirements

• NJ SORA certification
• Ability to use 2-way radios
• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable
• Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention strategies
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Excellent observational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Must possess a valid security officer certification as per state regulations
• Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screenings as part of the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Operate CCTV systems to ensure continuous surveillance of the premises.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, taking appropriate action as necessary.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential security risks or hazards.
• Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Assist in conflict management situations, employing de-escalation techniques when necessary.
• Prepare detailed incident reports documenting any security breaches or unusual occurrences.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required to ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Participate in training sessions for CPR, First Aid, and other relevant certifications.
