You will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to reports with clear communication and strong customer service. Requirements
- Guard Card/License is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed at an industrial location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate site representatives and/or public emergency services when required.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in and/or badging, and directing vehicles and deliveries per site procedures.
- Complete daily activity logs and incident reports, communicate post updates during shift transitions, and report maintenance hazards and/or policy concerns through the chain of command.
