About The Position

Doyle Security Services (DSS) is currently looking for UNARMED SECURITY OFFICERS in Nassau County, Long Island. Locations & Shifts: Greenvale: Friday-Sunday 2300-0700 Payrate: $18.00 Hewlett: Saturday-Wednesday 0000-0600 Payrate: $18.50 Hewlett: Thursday, Friday, 0000-0600 & Saturday, Sunday, 1800-0000 Payrate: $18.50 Melville: Saturday, Sunday 0800-1600 & Monday-Wednesday 1600-0000 Payrate: $18.00

Requirements

• Valid NYS Security Guard License.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• High School Diploma / GED required.
• 5-7 Year U.S. work history may be required.
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form.
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.
