We are seeking a professional and dependable Unarmed Security Officer to support a healthcare facility with consistent, high-quality security services. The ideal candidate will maintain a safe environment for staff, patients, and visitors while representing the company with integrity, professionalism, and strong customer service skills. Early-morning availability and stamina for extended shifts are essential.
Requirements
- Valid PERC card
- 20-hour Unarmed Security Training Certificate
- Previous security experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong observational abilities and attention to detail
- Professional appearance and conduct at all times
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
- Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality
- HS Diploma
- GED or H.S. Equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in healthcare, customer-focused, or high-traffic environments
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Conflict de-escalation training
Responsibilities
- Monitor entry points and ensure only authorized individuals access the facility
- Provide a visible security presence to deter unauthorized activity
- Conduct routine patrols of interior and exterior areas
- Assist staff, visitors, and patients with directions, escorts, and general support
- Respond promptly to incidents or disturbances and follow proper reporting protocols
- Complete detailed daily activity reports and incident documentation
- Observe and communicate safety hazards or maintenance concerns
- Collaborate with facility staff and security leadership to maintain a secure environment
- Remain alert, calm, and professional in high-stress situations
