About The Position

We are currently seeking Unarmed Security Guards to support the 24/7 operations of multiple customer facilities (GVA), located in the Baltimore MD area. Various full-time shifts are available for enthusiastic individuals who currently possess a Top Secret/SCI, (TS/SCI), and are looking to become part of an expanding team within a large organization that can offer career growth potential.

Requirements

Minimum of 18 years of age.
High School Diploma or GED
Qualified candidates must possess at least 1yr experience in either Law Enforcement,
3yrs Security, or the United States Armed Forces with an honorable discharge.
Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and able to multi -ask with little assistance.
Excellent verbal communication skills and able to interpret documents to ensure all rules and procedures are applied.
Successfully pass criminal, credit, and driving record checks.
Must be able to pass all training and obtain required certifications to include CPR, First Aid/AED.
Valid driver's license.
Current TS/SCI.

Responsibilities

Control access to facilities by monitoring sure equipment, inspecting vehicles, and ensuring all personnel entering the base have the proper identification.
Respond to situations on base using the appropriate escalation of force level by following established Use of Force Policy.
Responds to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents that may occur during day or night.
Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity.
Maintains proficiency and safety in the use of all assigned equipment, and control devices.
