About The Position

We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Roving Patrol Security Guard to monitor and secure the perimeter of our facility. The ideal candidate will conduct hourly patrols, identify and report any disturbances or suspicious activity, and ensure the safety of the premises. This position requires attention to detail, strong observational skills, and the ability to respond promptly to security concerns. This is a temporary position for 90 days with the possibility of extending and/or being made permanent. The employee also has the ability to pick up additional hours at other sites as well as being transferred if the position is not extended. The power to protect, a passion to serve! Requirements

6+ months security experience
High school diploma or GED
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
Ability to follow basic verbal and written instructions
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to pass a criminal background check
Reliable transportation
Valid driver's license
Clear driving record

Responsibilities

Conduct perimeter checks on foot or by vehicle once an hour, on the hour.
Observe and report any suspicious activity, unauthorized access, or security breaches.
Maintain detailed patrol logs, incident reports, and other necessary documentation.
Communicate security concerns to the appropriate personnel or law enforcement as needed.
Ensure all entry points, gates, and fences are secure and undamaged.
Respond to alarms, disturbances, or emergency situations in a timely manner.
Provide a visible security presence to deter potential threats.
Assist in enforcing company policies and procedures regarding access control and security protocols.
Maintain professionalism and composure in high-pressure situations.
