Unarmed Security Officer Location: Santa Monica Pay Rate: $18 per hour Time/Shifts: TBD UNIFORM GUARD EXPECTATIONS - 2025 Purpose of our Guards - Visible Deterrent (Dressed Professional in Uniform) Engaged / Professional Personality – likes working with People / Customers Providing TERRIFIC Customer Service Professionally dressed, maintain good hygiene, and groomed. ACTIVE in our Stores and VISIBLE. Spending most of their time at the front end of our Stores – Entrances / Exits Shows up on time/checks in with Management – ready to go.
Responsibilities
- Greet ALL Customers – “Welcome to/Thank you for Shopping at ..."
- Be Alert, Observe, and Report suspicious activity, – be engaged/offering assistance (again – strong visibility)
- Communicate Clearly.
- Walk Employees out to their car – if requested
- Abide by all our Policies – i.e. - receipts/breaks, use of cell phones, Shoplift Policy, no weapons, etc.
- De-escalate situations / treat everyone with Courtesy, Dignity and Respect
