About The Position

Doyle Security Services (DSS) is currently looking for UNARMED SECURITY OFFICERS in Suffolk County, NY. Locations & Shifts: SHOREHAM: Thursday, Friday Sunday 1800-0600 Payrate: $18.50/hr. SHOREHAM: Monday - Wednesday 1800-0600 Payrate: $18.50/hr. SHOREHAM: Saturday & Sunday 0000-0800 Payrate: $18.50/hr.

Requirements

High School Diploma / GED required.
5-7 Year U.S. work history may be required.
Valid NYS Security Guard License.
Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form.
Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.

Responsibilities

Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.
