About The Position
CLG Security is seeking professional, disciplined, and dependable Unarmed Security Officers to provide security services at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. This position is ideal for retired law enforcement officers, corrections professionals, military veterans, or experienced security officers who are looking to continue serving their community in a professional healthcare security environment. The selected candidate will help maintain a safe and secure environment for hospital staff, patients, and visitors while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a strong security presence.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Minimum three (3) years of security experience required
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Basic report writing and computer skills required
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
- Reliable transportation required
- All applicants must successfully pass: Criminal Background Check Drug Screening
Nice To Haves
- Five (5) years of customer service experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Monitor and authorize the entry and departure of employees, patients, visitors, and vendors
- Maintain a visible security presence throughout the hospital facility
- Conduct foot patrols and security checks of assigned areas
- Monitor CCTV surveillance systems and report suspicious activity
- Investigate disturbances, incidents, and safety concerns
- Prepare clear and detailed incident reports
- Respond to calls for assistance within the hospital
- Contact law enforcement, fire department, or EMS when required
- Provide professional customer service to hospital staff and visitors
- Enforce hospital policies and security procedures
