You will document activity, assist staff and visitors with customer service, and collaborate with teammates to support daily operations. Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
- Respond to incidents, alarms and service calls in a calm, problem-solving manner, and coordinate with site contacts and/or public officials as needed.
- Monitor access points and observe for unusual conditions, reporting concerns promptly and documenting activity per site requirements.
- Complete written and/or electronic reports, including daily activity logs and incident documentation, and communicate pertinent information during shift turnover.
