Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to reports with clear communication and professionalism. You will document activity, assist staff and visitors with customer service, and collaborate with teammates to support daily operations. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms and service calls in a calm, problem-solving manner, and coordinate with site contacts and/or public officials as needed.
  • Monitor access points and observe for unusual conditions, reporting concerns promptly and documenting activity per site requirements.
  • Complete written and/or electronic reports, including daily activity logs and incident documentation, and communicate pertinent information during shift turnover.
