About The Position

Beginning in 1977, IPSC offered security officer patrol services, and has since expanded to offer a number of security-related services. Requirements

• Must be at least 25 years of age.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen.
• Must have reliable transportation and an active cell phone number.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Good mental health and ability to make decisions instantly in emergencies.
• Must meet the physical and mental requirements of the state to be licensed as a Security Guard.

Nice To Haves

• Prior law enforcement, military, and/or security experience.
• Retirees and Veterans are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Work inside patrol at a grocery store.
• Communicate clearly and quickly in cases of emergency.
• Read and interpret written information under various circumstances.
• Drive a motor vehicle in the course of duties if required.
• Detect and identify sounds relevant to fires, floods, alarm signals, and persons in distress.
• Perform physical tasks such as walking, running, standing, climbing, sitting, and lifting a minimum of 50 lbs.
