St. Moritz Security Services, Inc. is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer to join our team in Athens, OH. With over 43 years in the security industry, we pride ourselves on our commitment to providing the highest level of service through our dedicated personnel. This position offers both full-time and part-time schedules with varying shifts, and a competitive pay rate of $18.36 per hour.

  • Execute security services as outlined in the Post Order Manual and accompanying policy and procedural guidelines.
  • Conduct walking patrols of building/facility and may include vehicular patrols, golf cart patrols, and/or bicycle patrols.
  • Identify and report security threats, unsafe conditions or hazards, and/or other emergency situations.
  • Perform site-specific duties based on assignment, including customer service, loss prevention, retail security, and lobby/visitor reception.
  • Write detailed, accurate, and legible incident reports during shift, noting any unusual activities and how issues were resolved.
  • Know all site-specific policies and procedures, and implement emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Follow all company procedures, maintain acceptable attendance, and adhere to grooming and customer service standards.
  • Participate in all company and site required orientation and training programs.
  • Respond to incidents during shift in conformity with the Post Orders and the Company's Use of Force Policy.
  • Conduct security, customer service, or support functions as directed by supervisor or in support of client requests.
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
  • Ability to obtain an OH guard card.
  • Clean drug screen, background check, and physical exam.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of security experience or a combination of 2 years in law enforcement, healthcare, corrections, military, or crisis intervention.
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current or prior military experience, or college education in the security field desirable.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of professional-level work experience preferred.
  • CPI or MOAB training is a plus but not required.
  • Experience in scheduling, operations, or other functions of the security industry.
