Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a Florida 'D' security license.
• Ability to work Weekends (Saturday and Sunday), if needed.
• A curious nature that helps you to remain aware of the activities around you.
• The ability to remain calm, solve problems, and act effectively in a critical situation.
• Must have basic computer experience and the ability to use a tablet to conduct security reports.

Nice To Haves

• Able to obtain any & all security certifications/licenses.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular walking patrols to improve the safety of individuals and proactively identify and report security concerns.
• Monitor facility access points, employing verification procedures to authenticate the identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting premises.
• Maintain precise and detailed logs documenting activities, incidents, and notable observations.
• Enforce security procedures in the relevant Security Post Instruction.
• Execute routine tasks such as securely locking and unlocking doors, activating and deactivating security systems, and monitoring surveillance feeds.
• Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, emergencies, and other incidents.
• Provide excellent customer service, assisting and addressing the concerns of visitors and employees.
• Always look professional in a clean and pressed uniform.
