About The Position

As a Unarmed Security Officer - Commercial Site in Wayne, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent commercial real estate location, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure and welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and staff. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the property, remaining highly visible to help to deter potential security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will be expected to provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with all individuals on site, and work collaboratively with your team to address any concerns. As this is a driving post, a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

• Applicants must be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Able to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe and report any unusual circumstances.
• Interact with tenants, visitors, and/or employees to provide assistance and help to address security-related concerns as needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client site requirements.
• Remain visible and accessible while on patrol to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to occupants of the location.
