Job Description As a Airport Security Professional - Unarmed in Hilo, HI , you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure airport environment by monitoring airport premises, conducting security patrols, and enforcing access control procedures. Position Type: Full Time - Afternoon Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee. Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 02:00 PM - 11:30 PM Fri 02:00 PM - 11:30 PM Sat 02:00 PM - 11:30 PM Sun 02:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Requirements

21 + Years of Age
Valid Driver's License
Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam
Must also have the ability to pass a federal background check for DOT
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
Monitor access points and observe for unusual or suspicious behavior within the location.
Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities and any incidents encountered during patrols.
Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and onsite personnel as needed.
Follow all site-specific guidelines and instructions while performing duties at the location.
