About The Position

As a Unarmed Security Officer - Access Control in Cromwell, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor entrances, conduct patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. You will provide exceptional customer service while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first, making a positive impact every day in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Control access to the location by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and vendors, following site-specific policies and procedures.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and vendors with directions and information as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter and report any security-related concerns or irregularities.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related needs and/or emergencies specific to the food and beverage environment.
