As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and controlling entry points at a manufacturing and industrial location. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to promote a secure environment, and providing exceptional customer service and communication to all personnel and visitors. Requirements

• Possess a Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration.
• Provide proof of high school diploma or General Education Diploma.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess access control and/or badge experience.
• Possess customer service experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
• Monitor and control access to the premises, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Document and report any unusual activities or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with visitor management, including checking in guests and directing them as needed.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment in the manufacturing and industrial setting.
