About The Position
Anderson Security is seeking a dedicated and responsible Security Officer to join our team at various construction sites across the Valley. This full-time position offers an hourly rate of $20.50 and requires open availability for varied shift schedules. The Security Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of the client's property, personnel, and equipment. This includes patrolling and monitoring the premises, performing security checks, and responding to incidents as necessary. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and will be expected to promote site safety programs and initiatives to foster a secure work environment. In this role, the Security Officer will be responsible for adhering to corporate standard operating procedures, client directions, and site-specific post orders. Ethical decision-making is essential, as is keen attention to detail when observing, reporting, and documenting any unusual occurrences. Building positive relationships with clients, staff, and customers through exceptional customer service is a key aspect of this position. The Security Officer will conduct foot patrols around the worksites to identify any irregularities and will respond promptly to emergencies and incidents. Additional tasks may be assigned as deemed necessary by Anderson Security Agency. Candidates must possess a valid Unarmed Arizona Security Guard Card and a valid Arizona Driver's License, along with a reliable vehicle. Applicants should be willing to work weekends and overnight shifts at various sites throughout the Valley. A comprehensive background check and drug screening will be required, and candidates must adhere to company policies regarding appearance. The position requires the ability to stand, walk, and perform other tasks on foot for up to 90 minutes. A high school diploma or GED is required for this position.
