Requirements

Must be flexible with scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Reliable transportation to and from job sites across Rhode Island
Basic tech skills required (ability to use smartphones, apps for reports, clock-in systems, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
Must pass a background check
Security Experience (1-year preferred minimum)
Professional & Presentable presence to public
Effective & Pleasant communication skills
Clean BCI (State & national)
Reliable means of transportation / vehicle
Responsible & consistent work ethic
Technical (Internet / Smartphone Usage)

Nice To Haves

Prior security experience is a plus, but not required – we provide training

Responsibilities

Conduct routine patrols to maintain a secure environment
Monitor premises and report incidents in a timely manner
Utilize company-provided technology for report writing, geofence clock-in/out system, and digital communication
Follow post orders and client-specific security protocols
Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional presence
Secure client location(s)
Report incidents (realtime)
Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
Answer telephone calls when on-call and report efficiently.
Circulate among visitors, patrons, or employees to preserve order and protect property.
Patrol industrial or commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
