About The Position

Observation: observe suspicious personnel or personnel behaving inappropriately and showing hostility. Monitor potentially unauthorized personnel. Assistance: assist Police and personnel with incapacitated patients as needed. Customer Service : shall meet and interact with the general public in a manner that promotes a positive image of the VA. Shall serve at fixed posts or patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle. Shall direct traffic, control parking, and issue courtesy violation notices.

Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must be literate in English to the extent of reading and understanding printed regulation, detailed written orders, training instruction and material
• Must have the ability to meet and deal with the public in a professional manner
• Shall be properly licensed by Federal, State, and local authorities
