Stockton Staffing Group is now hiring for our client, a mid-sized Security firm location in Waukegan, IL! The part-time Unarmed Security Guard is responsible for providing vigilant, static security services at key locations such as courtyards, offices, pools, and other high-value areas. The role focuses on securing all access points and safeguarding property and residents with keen attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety. In addition to the duties outlined below, all responsibilities specified in the sites Post Orders are also mandatory. Responds to feedback, collaborates as a team player, and follows through on responsibilities. Project Management : Completes assigned duties efficiently and maintains clear communication regarding the condition of company equipment and other operational needs.

  • Provide consistent, high-quality security services aligned with company values and site-specific post orders.
  • Generate accurate, detailed reports using company-provided software and technology.
  • Maintain punctuality, adhere to time-tracking procedures, and comply with dress code and appearance standards.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to residents, visitors, and staff, promoting a safe and welcoming environment.
  • Maintain clear communication with the Advanced Dedicated Guard or Branch Supervisor to report incidents or concerns.
  • Ensure proper care and accountability for assigned equipment such as radios, keys, vehicles, and electronic devices.
  • Deescalate conflicts or concerns professionally and promptly using strong communication skills.
  • Meet performance expectations set by the Dedicated Branch Supervisor, including reporting quality and service standards.
  • Participate in daily operational briefings and adjust to post order changes to maintain operational excellence.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Must complete initial training modules within the first 30 days
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to service
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 20 pounds
