About The Position

As a Unarmed Security Guard - Manufacturing Site in Briarcliff Manor, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. As a Dispatch Officer supporting a logistics and distribution location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for all staff and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring activity, coordinating communication between teams, and responding promptly to security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols and maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues, while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. Requirements

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within the logistics and distribution environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate personnel as needed.
• Monitor and manage communications for personnel and visitors, maintaining detailed logs and records of activities and incidents.
• Dispatch security-related personnel and resources to various locations as required to address incidents or requests for assistance.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and tracking movement within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, reporting any unusual activity or potential concerns.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with Allied Universal team members and client representatives.
• Support security-related operations by following established protocols and contributing to a secure environment for the logistics and distribution location.
