As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an educational environment, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with students, staff, and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $17.15 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Tue 02:45 PM - 11:00 PM Sat 02:45 PM - 11:00 PM

Requirements

Must be able to ride a bike.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the educational location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor for unusual activity or security-related issues within the location, reporting findings in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
Communicate clearly and respectfully with students, staff, and visitors while upholding the standards of Allied Universal.
Assist in access control by verifying credentials and helping to manage entry points as required by site policies.
Document incidents and observations accurately in daily activity reports and/or incident reports as outlined by Allied Universal guidelines.
