About The Position

First Class Security is seeking a professional, physically capable Unarmed Security Officer to provide security services for a high-traffic event space in the Nashville area. This is a part time position with the opportunity to take on additional assignments and transition to full time status for the right candidate.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid Tennessee Security Guard License required
• Dallas Law certification required
• Physically strong and able to stand and remain alert for extended periods
• Neat, professional appearance required at all times
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work evening and late night hours
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• Ability to remain alert, attentive, and professional throughout overnight hours

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in security, crowd management, or related fields preferred

Responsibilities

• Check and verify valid identification for all guests entering the venue
• Monitor crowd behavior and maintain order throughout the event space
• Respond to and de-escalate disturbances in a calm and professional manner
• Enforce venue policies and communicate expectations clearly to guests
• Maintain a visible and professional presence throughout all assigned posts
• Document and report incidents through the Belfry platform in a timely and accurate manner
• Coordinate with venue staff and management as needed during events
