About The Position
The University of Minnesota Rochester (UMR) is seeking a Human Resource Generalist to support the strategic, tactical, and operational needs of human resource programs within a campus culture of innovation, collaboration, and equity during a period of extended, accelerated growth. This role is expected to be a resource for the human resources and finance teams in an environment with a diverse student body pursuing health care careers in an internationally remarkable medical context. The position is a full-time, 12-month, administrative position that reports to and works closely with the Director of Employee Engagement, Development, and Well-being. This role is an important source of HR information for staff, faculty, and student workers across the campus. This position also works in close collaboration with University of Minnesota system human resource colleagues, leveraging resources and ensuring campus awareness and compliance with system policies. This is a hybrid position. Any in-person work will be located on the University of Minnesota Rochester campus in Rochester, MN.
