About The Position
The summer internship program will provide hands on experience in healthcare infection prevention and control, surveillance and infectious disease epidemiology, and antimicrobial stewardship programs. Interns will conduct healthcare surveillance in intensive care and general inpatient medical units settings. Interns will work on at least one individualized project that they will plan with their direct supervisor and physician lead with the intent to present or publish their work at the end of their internship.
