A bit about this role: The supervisor role will conduct audits and quality reviews; implement education, workflow refinements, and policy updates (including InterQual and clinical guidelines) in collaboration with medical leadership. The supervisor will partner with clinical, operational, and technology teams to design, implement, and support AI/LLM-enabled workflows that improve triage, clinical review efficiency, documentation quality, and staff experience. This is a fast-paced, high-change environment requiring someone who thrives on operational challenges, can manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and is comfortable leading a team. Your Responsibilities and Impact will include: Supervise the Acute UM Inpatient team, including hiring, scheduling, training, performance management, coaching, and corrective action. The supervisor will monitor and act on key UM and operational metrics (timeliness, denial/overturn rates, volumes, throughput), identifying trends and driving continuous improvement.
