About The Position

Ulysses High School is seeking Social Studies Teachers for two positions: World History and American Government. Candidates must be 7-12 Social Studies Certified in the state of Kansas or eligible for certification. Under the direction of the Principal or designee, the candidate will plan and teach Social Studies, differentiate instruction, motivate and assess students, and promote a high-quality, personalized education program that aligns with the Kansas State Content Standards for High School Social Studies. The ideal candidate will possess excellent oral and communication skills, a dynamic character, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively with diverse staff, students, parents, and the community in a rigorous K-12 academic environment. Requirements
