About The Position

Mercy Medical Center is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to join our Imaging department. This position is per diem, with a variable shift schedule. The Ultrasound Technologist will demonstrate competency in performing all ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation. The role involves positioning patients and equipment to produce appropriate recordings, as well as processing and transmitting images to PACS.

Requirements

• RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification in at least one body or region required within 90 days of hire and maintain.
• Graduate from an accredited ultrasound program or current certification as identified in #1 and graduation within 90 days of hire.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.
• Proficient computer skills.
