About The Position

Under general supervision, an Ultrasound Technologist performs routine diagnostic procedures and may have individual responsibility for training and leading the work of other employees, with the knowledge, intensity, and responsibilities as specified on the attached Job Description/Performance Review. The technologist will identify each patient's requirements relative to his or her age-specific needs and willingly perform other duties as requested.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved US Department of Education Ultrasound/Imaging program or equivalent on-the-job training.
• RDMS certification in Abdomen and OB/GYN and RVT.
• CPR-BLS certified at the time of appointment.
• Registered or Registry eligible as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with documentation of CEU requirements.
• New graduates must become RDMS certified within 1 year and RVT certified within 2 years of appointment.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year post-certificate work experience preferred.
