About The Position

Position Summary Shift Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PM.   The ultrasound technologist is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.  This role requires clinical expertise in abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and small part imaging, with a strong focus on patient safety, image quality and compassionate care.  Working independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.  

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program.
  • ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification in at least one specialty
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical ultrasound experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical rotations considered.
  • Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and PACS/RIS systems.
  • Ability to perform a wide range of exams including general, OB/GYN, vascular, and small parts.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology and pathology related to sonographic imaging.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and assist in patient positioning.
  • Capable of lifting and moving patients or equipment as needed.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Adaptability to fast-paced and changing environments.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and professionalism.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional ARDMS certifications preferred.
