About The Position

We're seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic US procedures with accuracy, professionalism, and patient-centered care. This role requires independent judgment, technical expertise, and collaboration with physicians and healthcare staff.

Requirements

• Graduate of a JCERT-approved or Ultrasound accredited program
• Certified in Vascular Sonography by ARDMS
• CPR Certified
• Knowledge of ultrasound transducers, controls, and imaging protocols

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of US examinations using proper transducers, controls, and settings to achieve diagnostically adequate studies
• Prepare patients for exams, provide instructions, and administer any necessary preps or medications
• Maintain accurate electronic and paper records, including report filing, film retrieval, and documentation of completed examinations
• Transport patients safely to and from the department
• Correctly scan all assigned examinations while keeping repeat rates below 10%
• Schedule procedures and coordinate with diagnostic imaging staff
• Serve as a patient advocate while collaborating with physicians and other personnel
