This full‑time Ultrasound Technologist position is based at Fishers Hospital. The scheduled hours are Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 6a–6:30p, and participation in call coverage is required (weekday, weekend, and holiday rotations). In this role, you’ll perform a wide range of general ultrasound exams, including limited vascular studies, pediatrics, OB, and procedural support. Because students regularly rotate through the department, a collaborative mindset and strong team spirit are essential. Candidates must actively hold RDMS or RVT certification. A sign‑on bonus is available for eligible applicants! Provides diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound to generate images of patients' internal organs, tissues, and blood flow. Responsible for the independent operation of sonographic equipment. Evaluates images for diagnostic quality and makes necessary adjustments to capture the best possible images. Collaborates with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic information. Ensures patient safety and comfort during procedures by explaining the process, positioning patients correctly, and adjusting equipment as needed. Familiar with current scan protocols. Maintains compliance with high level disinfection practices. Assists with minimally invasive procedures as needed. Possesses familiarity with ultrasound contrast indications and administration practices. Provides intraoperative ultrasound as requested.
