About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures while ensuring high standards of patient care and safety. This role involves assisting physicians, operating imaging equipment, and supporting invasive procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound/Sonography program
  • ARDMS certification (or equivalent) required
  • Active state licensure (if applicable) required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of imaging procedures and patient care practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Responsibilities

  • Perform ultrasound imaging and assist with interventional procedures
  • Assist physicians during procedures, including scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring patient status
  • Operate imaging and interventional equipment according to protocols
  • Monitor and document patient condition during procedures
  • Prepare and maintain sterile fields, trays, and equipment
  • Assist with administration of contrast media as required
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during procedures
  • Educate patients about procedures and address concerns to reduce anxiety
  • Transfer patients safely between equipment, stretchers, and wheelchairs
  • Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records
  • Perform routine equipment checks, cleaning, and preventive maintenance
  • Manage inventory and ensure availability of supplies
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training
