The Ultrasound Technologist, also known as a Sonographer, performs a wide variety of high-quality clinical ultrasound procedures including advanced and specialized procedures in areas including obstetrical, abdominal, vascular studies, small parts, invasive biopsies and guidance procedures, peds sonography where you utilize ultrasound equipment and accessories. The ultrasound technologist must use independent judgment, ingenuity, advanced knowledge, and initiative; along with the ability to deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe and clean environment. Current and proven skills must include the ability to effectively communicate, be a contributing team member, but encompass the ability to adapt to working independently when necessary.
