The Ultrasound Technologist’s mission is to deliver precise, high-quality diagnostic imaging through compassionate patient care, technical excellence, and collaboration with providers to support accurate diagnosis and exceptional outcomes at Lakewood Health System. Enjoy flexible, as-needed scheduling with a variety of daytime shifts available Monday through Friday.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of ultrasound (24-month course or more), or a new graduate awaiting board exam
  • Currently registered by the ARDMS or soon to be RVT credential required within one year of hire
  • Maintain CEUs as set by the ARDMS

Nice To Haves

  • Interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with physician staff and patients
  • Basic computer skills; knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint desired
  • Familiar with EMR systems, PACS systems, and EPIC desired
  • Quality of care focused

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams and procedures
  • Interact professionally with patients and staff
  • Collaborate with team members to complete tasks
  • Enter orders and schedule exams as needed
  • Process imaging and report requests
  • Push images to requesting facilities
  • Answer department phone
  • Apply critical thinking in a dynamic workspace
