The Ultrasound Technologist will support cardiovascular research studies in the Epidemiology Department by performing high-quality vascular ultrasound assessments in accordance with IRB-approved study protocols. This part-time role is integral to data collection efforts related to assessing endothelial function and vascular health in patients or study participants. The specialist will work closely with research investigators, clinicians, and study staff to ensure the accurate and consistent acquisition of Flow-Mediated Dilation (FMD) brachial artery ultrasounds. Work is performed in a clinical research setting with exposure to standard imaging equipment. This position may require flexible scheduling including occasional weekends or evenings based on participant availability. The position requires standing for extended periods, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to lift or position patients. Exposure to standard ultrasound equipment and imaging environments.• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized imaging protocols.
