What You’ll Do: Ultrasound Technologist works directly with patients and physicians and operates the equipment that uses high-frequency soundwaves to take images and scans of the body’s internal organs. Ensuring the safety and comfort of patients Providing sonograms and oral or written summaries of technical findings to physicians for use in medical diagnosis Operating ultrasound equipment to produce and record images of normal and abnormal anatomy. Maintain records that include patient information, ultrasound images, and interpretations, files of correspondence, and other related documents/reports.
