About The Position

A healthcare organization in Western Colorado is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to perform a comprehensive range of diagnostic ultrasound procedures while supporting clinical and administrative workflows. This role emphasizes high-quality imaging, patient safety, and efficient care delivery within a women’s health-focused environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 2 years of related ultrasound experience preferred
• ARDMS (or equivalent registry) in General, OB, or Vascular
• Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) certification

Responsibilities

• Verify ultrasound equipment functionality prior to procedures
• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols
• Clean and restock exam rooms after each patient encounter
• Sanitize all imaging equipment, including scanners, consoles, tables, and accessories
• Communicate examination findings to referring providers as directed
• Track and manage STAT results, follow-up communication, and pending patient results
• Accurately transfer imaging studies and documentation for interpretation
• Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and quality standards
