About The Position

This position is for an Ultrasound Technologist (PRN), whose responsibility is to provide direct patient care related to Imaging services, in accordance with accreditation standards, federal, state, and local regulations, organizational and departmental policies and procedures and professional standards. Provides safe and efficient imaging to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient populations. Responsible for the supervision of professional or skilled personnel. The position reports to the Director of Imaging Services.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound program.
• Must be able to operate all ultrasound machines proficiently within three months of employment.
• Ultrasound clinical competency required.
• Current BLS Certification required.

Nice To Haves

• American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography preferred.
• May be registry eligible.
