About the Role Location: Woodbridge, Virginia Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Status: Qualified full-time, benefitted No weekends, holidays, or call Free on-site parking Who You Are As an Ultrasound Technologist for Fairfax Radiology Centers (FRC) , you are the calming force when patients are in need of quality care. Requirements
- New graduates in Ultrasound are welcome to apply
- Current RDMS certification
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Strong technical, communication, and patient care skills
Nice To Haves
- 1+ years of experience in general Ultrasound highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Independently perform clinical sonography examinations
- Confidently use your sonographic skills to obtain, record, and adapt procedures for optimal diagnostic results
- Consistently acquire high-quality images for review
- Evaluate and communicate anatomy and pathology findings to radiologists
- Maintain positive, professional, and caring interactions with patients and families
