About The Position

Ultrasound Technologist PRN Rotating Position Summary Under minimal supervision, performs basic diagnostic ultrasound procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Exercises professional judgment in providing health care services, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly. May be multi-credentialed in sonography. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Sonography
• Must be registered with ARDMS or ARRT within 24 months of graduation (12 months of hire).
• BLS certified.

Responsibilities

• Produces high quality diagnostic sonographs as prescribed by a licensed practitioner
• assists with amnio procedure biopsies
• processes and files films as needed
