About The Position

Providence Imaging Center is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist. This role involves performing all essential functions of a Registered Sonographer, including performing and evaluating sonographic examinations. The technologist will obtain clinical history and perform physical assessments to determine appropriate testing protocols and provide technical interpretation of sonographic and physiologic data to assist physicians in medical diagnosis. The position is Per Diem, 0.01 FTE, on a Day Shift, with hours as needed, located onsite at Providence Imaging Center in Anchorage, Alaska.

Requirements

• Graduate of accredited Diagnostic Sonography Program or certification with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer within 1 year of hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
• 9 months Ultrasound coursework experience in Abdomen, OB/Gyn including clinical rotation

Nice To Haves

• 9 months Ultrasound coursework experience in Breast, Vascular including clinical rotation

Responsibilities
