About The Position

Under general supervision an Ultrasound Technologist performs routine diagnostic procedures and may have individual responsibility for training and leading the work of other employees, with the knowledge, intensity and responsibilities as specified on the attached Job Description/Performance Review. To identify each patient's requirements relative to his or her age specific needs. Willingly performs other duties as requested.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved US department of Education Ultrasound/Imaging program or equivalent on-the-job training.
• RDMS certification in Abdomen and OB/GYN and RVT.
• CPR certified at the time of appointment.
• Registered or Registry eligible as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with documentation of CEU requirements.
• New graduates must become RDMS certified in Abdomen and OB/GYN within 1 year of appointment.
• New graduates must become RVT certified within 2 years of appointment.

Nice To Haves

• BS Preferred.
• Minimum 1 year post-certificate work experience preferred.
