About The Position

Produces ultrasonic images and participates in special studies under the clinical direction of a Radiologist or Physician. Evaluates quality of ultrasonic images. Provides a safe patient environment. Participates in other necessary activities in support of departmental operations.

Requirements

• Graduation from a CAHEA (AMA) accredited radiography program, or its ultrasound equivalent
• Current registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (RDMS) with up to date continuing education credits, or ARRT with equivalent training or experience
• BCLS certified; recertification required every two years

Nice To Haves

• Associate Degree in ultrasound technology or radiography
• Prior experience as a medical sonographer
